Teach For Hong Kong Fellowship program 2023-24

All Changes Begin in Classroom

We're looking for young leaders daring to impact education and underprivielged students, starting with teaching full-time for one year.

More than teaching, you will experiment initiatives to address pressing challenges of underprivileged students, and carry frontline insights to a wide range of impactful careers after Fellowship.

A year of impact and development. We challenge you to lead self, others, and changes.

Features of the Fellowship

Proven Track Record

Since 2015, we have recruited 178 Fellows who served 10,000+ underserved students at 30+ high-need schools. We are supported by The D. H. Chen Foundation and Swire Trust, and other corporate partners.

Diverse Community

A majority of our Fellows come from local universities, while the rest from overseas universities. They studied a wide range of disciplines. Around 30% joined as young professionals in various industries.

Comprehensive Support and Training

You are supported by a passionate and experienced team and extensive network that includes senior leaders and Fellowship Alumni in different sectors, on your personal and professional development.

More Than Teaching

As a Fellow, you will drive bottom-up changes in high-need schools by designing and teaching subject classes, leading extracurriculars, mentoring students, and experimenting new initiatives.

Future Development Opportunities

Education is only one of many post-Fellowship pathways. Our alumni continue their leadership journey in any organizations such as HKJC, HKFYG, HSBC, ESF, and many more organizations.

Variety of Education Focus

Our Fellows carried out diverse initiatives in the areas of pedagogies & curriculum, global exposure & language learning, social emotional learning, STEM education, financial education, etc.

Our Vision and Mission

While there is no single solution to education inequity, it starts with a community of leaders.

We find the most promising young leaders to serve in grassroots schools in our year-long Fellowship Program. This transformative lesson experience, coupled with our developmental support, empowers these future leaders to create long-lasting changes for education equity across sectors.

We envision a future where all children in Hong Kong have equal opportunities to learn, grow and actualize their potential.
